Love Bugs vs. Stomach Bug

I'm so disappointed that I haven't been able to create or share any new cards this week especially since I just received some new toys! This week my family and I have been plagued with the stomach flu! It has been awful. I'm still recovering, but hope to have the family back to being healthy before the end of this weekend! In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a previous post in honor of Valentine's Day! I wish all of you a very Happy Valentine's Day and pray you don't get the stomach bug!!

Got the call...

So last night, I got the phone call. My glasses were in! I was so excited that I was ready to run out and pick them up right there and then. Unfortunately, they called me as they were closing, so I had to wait until today. Anyway, here they are. Let me know what you think!!!

Sweet New Arrival!

What a sweet way to welcome a new little girl into the world! I love the way this card came out!

I used a few different SU! stamp sets on this card. I was inspired by my daughter's blanket which had a quilted pattern background with an animal on it! The Pretty In Pink background is embossed using SU! Texturz Plate. The elephant is from the Animal Stories stamp set. I added the "ball" by using the Circle Circus stamp set and punching it out with my 3/4" circle punch. The sentiment "welcome" came from the Warm Words set. I added a pink jeweled brad to the ribbon for added flair! The inside of the card reads, "Congratulations on your sweet new arrival!".

Stamps: Animal Stories, Circle Circus, Warm Words
Card Stock: Pretty In Pink, Mellow Moss, Whisper White
Inks: Brocade Blue, Mellow Moss, Pretty In Pink, Basic Black
Punches: Modern Label, 3/4" Circle Punch
Accessories: Mellow Moss satin ribbon, pink jeweled brad*, dimensional
All items Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Time to Make the Donuts!

Today's card was inspired by a circular I received in the mail. I decided it would be a fun card and unique color combo! I used the retired set Like It A Latte & Polka Dots & Paisley. The colors are Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip.  I cut out the heart and adhered it to the card using dimensionals. The background is embossed using SU! Texturz Plate on both the Pink Passion and Pumpkin Pie backgrounds. The inside of the card reads "Sending warm wishes your way." The card measures 5.25" square and the coordinating envelope is stamped with coffee beans! Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

Heartfelt...(fill in the blank)!

This is one of my favorite cards! I love to make this card when I'm in need of a thank you. The color combos are so much fun to play with. Today, I chose Cameo Coral and Old Olive.  The stamp set is another retired set from Stampin' Up!, Heartfelt Thanks. The cards are blank inside providing the ability to customize it anyway you like! Heartfelt Thanks, Heartfelt Sympathy, Heartfelt Love, etc.!
