Bloom with Happiness!

 

This is one of my favorite retired stamp sets from SU! It is a hostess set and I love using this stamp set for weddings and bridal showers! The card measures 5.25" square. I used some really cool paper as the background. It has raised felt on it! I cut the circles out using my Circle Scissors Plus and used the corner punch for the sentiment. I, of course, needed to add a little sparkle to the occasion, so I used the 2-way glue and my Dazzling Diamonds glitter to add the sparkle to the dress!

Birthday Cake

 

This card measures 5.25" square. I used some DSP, white satin ribbon and SU!'s premium quality card stock to make this card! The stamp set is called Happy Moments and is another set that I received FREE during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration event! Order $50 worth of products and receive FREE stamps! I colored the cake using Stampin' Write Markers and used the ticket corner punch to enhance the image. The inside of the card reads "the more candles the bigger the wish!" which is another stamp from the Whimsical Words set available in the SAB catalog.

Floral Friends

 

I'm so excited that I finally got to use the new supplies that came for me last week! Now that the family is feeling better, I hope to get back to creating every day! This set is Vintage Vogue from the new mini-occasions catalog. I used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive along with Whisper White to create this card. I stamped the "F" Friends in Rich Razzleberry, cut it out and adhered with dimensionals. I also used the scallop trim border punch which I got free from the SAB catalog! This card was super easy to make and I can tell that I'm going to get a lot of use out of this stamp set.

Love Bugs vs. Stomach Bug

I'm so disappointed that I haven't been able to create or share any new cards this week especially since I just received some new toys! This week my family and I have been plagued with the stomach flu! It has been awful. I'm still recovering, but hope to have the family back to being healthy before the end of this weekend! In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a previous post in honor of Valentine's Day! I wish all of you a very Happy Valentine's Day and pray you don't get the stomach bug!!
