Cards 4 Cancer

I made some cards for the Hill Country Spirit Jumpers team in effort to support Cards 4 Cancer. Just thought I'd share some of the one I sent off in the mail with you. To learn more about the cause, click here. Enjoy!

Welcome Little One

I love the way this card turned out! I used one of the previous sketch layouts from Mojo Monday blog. I then used some scraps and a piece of designer paper I had for the background. The stamp sets are both retired SU! sets - Wild About You and Riveting. The inside says "Congratulations" from the Well Scripted Set. Let me know what you think! I stamped the lion three times, once in Pumpkin Pie for the mane and twice in More Mustard for the body and face. Stampin' dimensionals were used for both the mane and the sentiment to make the card 3-D!Thanks for looking!

The coordinating envelope was fun to make. I used a technique I learned from Stampin' Pretty's blog. Mary Fish is so talented!! I used the same designer paper for the back flap of the envelope. I little 2-way glue and voila, a jazzed up, coordinating envelope to go with the card!

Easter is just around the corner!

With Easter right around the corner, I felt inspired to make something with a bunny. I got the layout from talented designer Mary Fish for the MOJO turns 100! The bunny comes from a retired stamp set, A New Little Someone. I used pastels and water brushes to color the bunny. The inside of the card reads "Happy Easter." I love the way this turned out! Birthday Wishes

 

Besides thank you cards, I'm always in need of a birthday card. I created this simple card with a few of the goodies I received from Sale-A-Bration! The color combo is perfect for Spring - Regal Rose and Certainly Celery. I used the Modern Label and Word Window punches for the sentiment. Pink Chicks Glass Magnets

PPA32-A Theme Challenge-Spring

 

So today, I decided to participate in a challenge. Pals Paper Arts has a new challenge every Thursday and this week's challenge was a spring theme. Although, I live in Florida, I'm so ready for SPRING!!! Now on to the details of the card. I was so excited to find that the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch coordinated with some designer paper that I had. Paired with SAB's Whimsical Words stamp set and I have a springy retro looking thank you card! I actually like the colors combo on this card - I usually don't use Ruby Red! Thanks for looking!
